About Us
Aldinga Community Children’s Centre is a Community Based not for profit child care service.
We are open 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Aldinga Community Children’s Centre is located in a quiet area next to the Aldinga Kindergarten, Aldinga Community Centre and Symonds Reserve in central Aldinga Beach. We have natural spacious gardens with excellent play facilities to promote optimum physical development, and plenty of room for the children to run around, have fun and explore.
Our centre is licensed to care for 12 children from 3 months-2 years, 15 children from 2-3 years and 28 children from 3-5 years of age. We aim to keep our fees as low as possible and offer a range of sessions and times to suit most families.
Our centre has a warm and welcoming educational team who pride themselves in providing high quality child care to the community. Reflecting the National Quality Framework, educators aim to create positive learning environments and guide experiences for each child in conjunction with their families. Educators will observe children and facilitate their learning to provide each child with an individualised ‘Learning Story’ portfolio by documenting their learning throughout the year. Children and their families will be encouraged to participate in the ongoing process to promote engaged learning.
We believe that healthy eating is vitally important in early childhood development and our fully trained chef provides a multicultural diverse range of nutritionally balanced meals. The centre also liaises with Nutrition Australia to further ensure the children’s nutritional needs are met while in care at our centre.
